Here's the recipe for some awesome chocolate chip cookies!
Ingredients:
1 c. Crisco shortening
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestle chocolate chips*
Nonstick Cooking Spray
Preheat oven to 375 F. In large bowl, combine first four ingredients. Mix well with electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Blend well.
Stir in chocolate chips. *I used a blend of semi-sweet, white chocolate, and Hershey's chocolate chips. (Optional: you can add 1 c. chopped pecans if you want.)
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 2 minutes before removing from pan.
This recipe usually makes about 35 cookies.
